My name is Darrin and I am the owner of Paws & Caws. I provide pet sitting and dog walking for central Connecticut. I love all animals and I have worked in the pet sitting field for another company prior to launching my own business. While there, I learned that although there is a lot of love for animals, not everyone can provide reliable care for them, which was very upsetting to see. And somewhere along the way, I realized caring for animals has made me the happiest I’ve been in my life. That’s why I’ve created a reliable service that allows me to care for many different types of pets.

 

I have taken care of numerous pets from dogs to cats, macaws and even a ferret. Of these pets I cared for dogs with various ailments from a blind dog, to one that was partially paralyzed, to my own sick puppy. And, I’ve cared for many different types of cats from ones that want you to play with their laser pointer and give pets–my favorite type– to the ones that will hide from you until they get to see you more often. In keeping my promise to provide a reliable pet care service I acquired a pet cpr and first aid certification so I can be prepared for emergencies. And, I am able to administer medication to your pet provided it is cooperative– no one enjoys getting bit or scratched!
